Missing Plug In Door?

I purchased a used '04 RX-8 in April and it's been excellent. However I noticed this weekend that in the driver's side door, just above the window controls, there is a hole in the door. I looked as the passenger side door and in th exact same spot there appears to be a little black plastic plug.

Anyone know 1. why this would be missing, 2. where I can get one?

The interior on this car is mint, with this one exception.

Thanks in advance.

Excellent, I've got to go in for an oil change in a few weeks anyway. Guess I'll ask them if they've got one then.

It's funny I never noticed it for months until I was cleaning the floormats, looked up an Doh! there was the hole.
