It would be nice if Samco would replace all the bad fitting hoses they have sold in their kits over the years, but that would be good customer service. From what I've heard Samco is horrible to deal with from a business perspective. Let us know how it goes though, I still have my purchase receipt from BHR when I bought mine and I'd love it if Samco would actually send me the correct hose.

I decided to send a lengthy e-mail to SamcoSport to help them hopefully realize that their name is crap right now to the community. When BHR drops a vendor then that really makes a statement. I still have my receipt and pictures of the bad hose they sent me. It's funny because here is a direct quote from their site
"SamcoSport is the original performance hose brand & we pioneered the development of the direct replacement aftermarket hose kit.
We offer the most comprehensive range of kits (450+ applications) and standard parts available in the marketplace today.
Our design engineers extensively research each new kit to ensure the best fitment & the most accurate design."
Not exactly living up to their claims.

Hi Justin,
Thank you for the information, which Samco hose are you saying doesn't fit,
can you send me the Samco hose number off the hose you have there? If you
could send me the OEM Mazda part number I will contact a Mazda dealer here
in the UK and see if they could get hold of one for me.
Best regards,
Mark.

For me I see no point in the full kit, you really just need the main feed and return hose, then use Good Year heater hose to replace you aging bypass hoses and heater hoses. That is what I did.

It is just that we paid good money for a complete kit and waited several weeks only to find out we have incorrectly made hoses and Samco not being very eager to fix the problem.
Hesselrode let me know how it works out. If you need help getting a part number contact onlimemazdaparts.com and just e-mail them describing what hose it is. They have always been very helpful to me finding the parts of need when I don't know exactly what it is called or the part number.

I received a lengthy e-mail reply from Samco, but I will post that in the thread that this issue should be discussed in as this one should be just a comparison for the two products.
I saw we move this discussion to https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-trouble-shooting-95/samco-6-pc-rad-hoses-where-does-piece-go-213998/

Yeah that was my concern, seems a bit low, even though a renesis runs at around 90 deg ? doesn't mean somewhere in the engine bay these hoses connect to or come in to contact with will be that temperature, no idea how hot the engine block gets, I might check it with a temp gun next time I drive it for a while.

I'm meaning 90°C not 90°F, pretty sure the Autobahn88 would be max temp of 180°C ?
EDIT: I'm in Australia, we don't use Fahrenheit, sorry for the confusion.
