They closed my dealer. I had a problem where they didnt pay off my trade in for 6 months. Kept losing checks and putting the wrong amounts on them.. My g/f also had to wait 8months to get her title cause it kept comming with the wrong sig/paper work.
We called over and over and bitched and I bet alot of other did, that place is gone now!

Congrats, you're lucky to get such great service all around! So does this mean you still get the full warranty from your '06 car or the shorter warranty for the '07?

mazda corporate is awesome.. it's the dealers that suck. the hardest part is getting heard by them then they always take are of it. I've had to go to them myself several times.. including the day i bought my car because of dealer shenanigans.

alhambra f'g mazda. bunch of stupid, incompetent chinese a-holes- esp ricky tru the service manager. if i pulled what he does at work, i'd have been fired a long time ago...

for the time being, i'm going to galpin mazda in van nuys, even tho it's 20 miles away. at least a few of their service advisors drive 8's and uknow a thing or 2 about this car.

He came out and worked hard on my 8. The problem dispite all his hard work could not get resolved. Mazda asked for some time to come up with another resolution to my problem. I called 2 or 3 times a week for about a month for an update which wasent much information and I was getting impatient. The last 2 weeks I was getting calls from a Mazda field manager who was very nice and stated they were going to put me in another car. Im thinking used as mine had 7500 miles on it. Not alot but it was only 5 month old. I received a call last night from the dealer I origionally purchased the car from asking me to come in today to take delivery of my new 8. I now have a NEW 8 better than the one I started with. 07 not 06, I got to choose the color. and added the spoiler with no out of pocket to me. They said they just wanted me to be a happy customer. From the time I first notified MNAO of my issues they have made good on every promise and have gone beyond my expectations. Just thought I would share...
Now wright to mazda that we need a 300 hp 3 rotor RX-8!!!

The dealer that gave me all the problems and didnt fix my car was Long Beach Mazda. Galpin Mazda was the dealer that I purchased my car from the first time and the one that made the trade into the new one. Yesterday at Galpin while the paper work was being finished up everyone their treated me like a VIP. The sales person that stayed with me the entire time making sure I was happy, the service manager, and the finance manager that went threw the paper work with me. I was treated like I had a pocket full of money buying a new car. They are also about 20 miles from me but they have earned all my new business.
