I regret buying a sunlight silver rx8. Damn thing is cursed, between people hitting it, breaking in to it, rocks through the ac condenser, and now my gf getting curb rash on the rim.....maybe I would have been better off with titanium gray?

I do not regret any of my mods. I love the AEM intake- it sounds great and better mpg. Espelir lowering springs- just the right amount of drop and a great deal on them.

+1 on the espilir springs. Definitely my favorite mod! Love the way my car corners now.

It's not too late. Look up "Classic Soft-Trim". You can have the 2-tone interior, PLUS a lot more color choices than Mazda provides. Maybe for less than you think.

^^agreed. We just got our mazda3 done in leather for $900. from Classic soft trim. Better quality than my 8's stock leather IMHO.

If I had to pick one, I guess it would be the RB Springs, not that there is anything wrong with them at all, just wish I had gone right to adjustable coilovers.

How's about one I didn't do.............I was called by Pettit back in May and on the list for the Pettit SC install(free) two days later. Had the appointment and rental car(for the drive home) all set up. Talked it over with some other folks and called back the next day to declined.......... simply due to warranty issues and not believing that enough time had been put on this SC yet. Probably a big mistake and in hindsight and I should've just done it. Think someone in Largo or Pembroke Pines took my slot! Who was it???????????????? I think it might have been Munchie?

the mx5 insurance quote was a good $500 more than an RX-8!!! I regret taking it to the dealership to fix the roof rattle. But my stock 8 is fabulous!

i dun regret anything i bought so far....hid conversion kit was a must, plus my jl audio custom box and installing everything myself was great. Only thing about my car i regret is letting my visiting 4 yr old cousin hose my car down while i was washing it.... now i got a deep scratch on the right side of my front bumper thanks to the little bipolar bastard....ahhhh never wanted to punch a lil boys face in before that day! lol...

Looking back if I had to do it all over again.

1) Would not have gotten the Greddy Turbo kit. The initial kit was garbage. The revised kit I hear is better. But it compromised the reliability of the car, and to this day i am still dealing with the effects of this product.

2) 19" rims - If I had to do it over again I would have stuck with my stock rims and just put some 245/40/18's all the way around, probably the Flaken Azenis RT-615's.

3) Kept the Racing Beat cat back. IMO, it was the best sounding exhaust by far. Loved it even better than my JIC titanium.

4) Would have never gotten the SR Motorsports pullies. Worthless & very expensive.

I regret getting the K&N v2. intake and the RB duct and not using that money to get a Racing Beat flash, even though the flash was not out yet, I was just itchin to mod something. Patience is a virtue.

Actually, I was all set to swap with Polak, but he ran into some time constraints. I'm either swapping it out for his Racing Beat or selling it with my car (basically giving it away).

actually fanman i leave for europe this weekend so I'll package up the RB and send it to you this week, and you can have your mechanic do it at your leisure. Might have to drive Sunday to the airport without an exhaust but thats no biggy.

I regret the size of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 I got -- 225/40-18. For $200 more, I could have gone with the wider 255/40-18. They'd corner better, and they're much closer to the stock diameter. (Other than that I love the tires.)

^255 on stock rims? My 245/40 F1s on stockers are plenty fat. Nice rubber fo sho. Mine are wearing way better than my last toyo t1s in 245/40.
