The most difficult thing about the RX-8
has got to be honoring the break-in period. I have about 150 miles on mine now, and it seems to be egging me on... "Drive me faster" , "Keep me in the upper range of the tach", "I wanna red-line", "Honk at that blonde"...

My hardest thing was not staring at it repeatedly after I got out of it. The day I first picked up my car my mom and I went out to eat and met up with my stepdad. I kept turning around, pretty much walking backwards to admire her. I tripped on the edge of the sidewalk and nearly fell over. LOL
I still can't stop admiring Bella!!!

You can drive sorta aggressive:
"...a few precautions in the first 600 miles may add to preformance. Don't race the engine. Don't maintain one constant speed for long. Don't drive constantly at full-throttle or high engine rpm for extended periods. Avoid unnecessary hard stops. Avoid full-throttle starts."
This leaves you some leeway for fun in the first 600. Of course mile 601 and after is much better...
Edit "Do honk at blondes."
