Hey guys-so I took my car in for some body repair a few weeks back and ended up talking with the guy about a prob I've been havin...the car floor starts vibrating out of nowhere sometimes and sounds like the engine is havin trouble...anyhow, he said he'd read on a forum somewhere that the RX8 motor mounts were being recalled and replaced and that it wasn't a big deal, just annyoing to the driver. I called my dealership (the flag dealership in Irvine, CA) and the service guy said he didn't know anything about it but that they motor mounts had been back-ordered on the RX8's so it was probably true-so now I've got an appt. to have diagnostics on it next week along with replacing the front drivers seat (it pops up and down) and the rear glass replaces (it's stock but has a nasty tint job-very noticeable around dusk)...so yah, anybody know anything about the motor mounts?? or have had a virbrating problem when going 60 and above??
