Yeah, I'm so into mazda's marketing that I will likely not ever buy mazda again due to maintanance record of my RX8.

Why don't you respond to the issue at hand rather than spewing out bullshit about Mazda marketing schemes. I would much rather have my car dealer serviced than wait for some joe mechanic to try an figure out the complexities of the RX8. I realize there are good rotary mechanics outside of the dealer but for most of us they are few and far between. And, you would have to be an idot to get your car serviced elsewhere when you can have it serviced at the dealer covered under warranty.

P.S : Oh yes you have such a wonderful life that you actually spent your time to make that picture. Nice job, loser.
Okay, maybe it was a really long day, but I am having a hard time understanding you, again...
but do I really cared about what you ppl think ? ok, so do you care, or not.
If stating fact means hostilitiy, then yes Im very hostile against everybody. fact is your opinion. You claim to have 'studied' oil (what, anthropology class?) so you are no more an expert than the Castrol dude that started this whole thing.
By the way, its spelled HOSTILITY...
P.S : Oh yes you have such a wonderful life that you actually spent your time to make that picture. Nice job, loser.[/ it was great, and I had a blast..

I really dont think you can read very well. Either that, or you have some other issue, judging by your poor grammar and inability to type/spell.

You insulted my intelligence while I was reading this thread and posted my two cents on what I had found, reading the GREAT OIL DEBATES all over the world. You claim to be an expert because this is what YOU have used. Everyone else says their piece, no syn bashing whatsoever, and you say we're all morons.

Again, I have not told you which I use, and you flame me anyway.

I would also like to point out you flamed several others because they say dino is just as good, and its cheaper.
That is not an insult to synthetic at all. You flamed them for *being cheap*. Then you go ahead to say that you *wish you could drive your car more but gas is so costly*.

Honey, you've shot yourself in the foot countless times in this entire thread. Why dont you fess up and admit you're learning like we all are, and like the one dude said "Lets all find out at 150K miles".

You are no better than anyone else. Time to grow up and be a big boy.

People are so into Mazda's cover their *** marketing just like you. Go have fun re-build ur engines, buddy. Cuz thats probably the only thing you *understands* ...

Thats not what he said at all. You're so busy looking for hidden meanings and sarcasm you cant even read the black and white infront of you.
What are you, consistently high?

PS... you're right about Mazda not recommending syn for their other cars. But hey, I ran it for years (gasp!! maybe I have experience of sorts in the area that you speak of!) in my old car.. and never had an issue.

If he understands rebuilding engines, piston or not, I'd be even more impressed by his posts than I already am... wouldnt you be? I'd love to see you attempt.. since you cant even splurge for an extra tank of gas to cruise around and enjoy the sunshine, I'd highly doubt you have the money to rebuild an engine. Plus double shifts at 7-11 just dont pay the bills...

Oh man... this guy is still responding and still blabling the same which is: you have no proof, I speak about facts and truths, don't bash synthetics... blah, blah, blah. I guess he still doesn't recognize the fact that the discussion is over? WTF? I am sure that his next response to this post will be: you behave like a 5 year old, I speak about facts and truths... holy **** man - there is so much more to life than a ******* synthetic oil in your car...

Amen to that. If that doesn't get through I don't know what will. And trust me, just because I have rebuilt a few 4G63 mitsu engines, some Chevy small blocks, and a few Honda mills does not make me an expert by any means. It took a lot of trial an error and a lot of reading up. I am learning about rotaries by working on my teenage cousins broke down 87' RX7. I will probably screw something up before I get it running right but rest assured I will eventually get it done right and he will motoring around town in his first car.

Through out all this crap being tossed around not one person has supplied pictures of a Renesis torn down after using synthetic for an extended period of time. Until this happens it is all opinion which really doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

Show me the inside of a rotary after 50K of use and this whole argument becomes moot.

I want evidence not opinions.

Its really too bad.. you answered several of my questions before this, and I actually respected your opinion. I appreciated your honesty and forthright answers. Its too bad you embarrassed yourself publicly as you did here.. for a second I thought you had sobered up when reading how you were planning on cracking your engine at 60K.. I was even eager to read your results.

You are an intelligent being, I'm surprised, not even knowing you, that you would stoop to the levels that you have and insult to make yourself look better (note to you.. backfired).

Anyway, good luck with your 60K experiment.. either way, I hope you have supporters of your results.

55k miles. not km.

syn oil for ~40k if i recall. the cat had 30k miles with syn oil in it... also running premix for the last 15 k miles..

as i said before. this comes up every two months. this time it took three..

there are i think 2 stickys covering this.. and several threads about how long you have been using syn oil...

I have nothing against anybody, its just that Im sick of seeing all these *Oh he said* *mazda said* kind of every single day without anything to back themself up.

Some asses just have to make fun of ppl to make urself look *better*. Im fine with it, it just shows that how stupid these *quote* people are.

Rebuild engine my ***. *cough*

Alright, no point to argue futher, these people have nothing to back themselfs up. I have my knowledge, thats something they dont and probably never will get. hah ! Go live in your 30 something year old dream suckers(not to you, someone else)

Thx. I will take it apart at 60K and show it to the world. Another year maybe year and a half or so. stay tune.

Gunky looking APV there.
Secondaries look good.

Let's see...
One has a lot of air going through it all the time, so it is clean. The other is real dirty. Could that be because it doesn't get a lot of air going through it?
Someone needs to drive their car a bit harder...

I'm sorry. What is this thread about? I lost track.
Oh yes! Trolls!

Just warm the car up, rev the car and you will clean the internals too.
