It's crazy, I mean if you searched and then still had questions or needed guidance that is one thing. But to start a thread on multiple questions that have been asked a billion times and expect us to just give you the info is just ridiculous.
I dunno, it just seems like lately they are coming out of the woodwork. This is a database of information people need to learn to use it.

I personally think the blue/red rx8 banner should be replaced with a picture of a printed page that shows "rx8club.com rated MPG 15 city/20 highway, yes this is normal" as big as will fit.

I can always gauge my driving that way. Full tank, zero miles, 3/4 tank, 50 miles. 1/2 tank, 100 miles, 1/4 tank, 150 miles. Empty, 200 miles. less than that and I've been driving like a jackass in the city. That much exactly and I've been driving like a grandma in the city. More than that and I've been on the highway a lot.

On another note, this just reminds me how much I hate my damn commute to work. I could be getting significantly better gas mileage if those d!#k head traffic flow designers wouldn't have designed it so I hit every damn stop light on the way. It never fails, every single morning I hit all the same exact stop lights. Maybe if our nation wants to start conserving fuel we should fire all those idiot traffic flow people.
(Sorry if anyone here actually does that for a living lol)

DIY is easy, doesn't take that long and its so worth it. But as these guys said you mpg is normal. If u drive highway all the time its a lil different but not much. Yes these guys are dicks but they know what their talking about.

Since there were so many previous threads, people get sick of repeating the same things over and over.
I've been here and had my 8 for a month now, and I've made less than ten posts. Because I've spent the entire month scouring the archives for invaluable information.
<snark>
Except I still haven't decided on an oil viscosity or premix strategy.

So yeah, I was saddened by the MPG (I'm getting anywhere between 17 and 18 combined city and highway), but it is what it is, and the car is worth it.
If you didn't research it, then I'm sorry.

Try this, and i was running in winter and getting decent mpg. Thats just way to low. Good luck, hope you get it back up.

With fuel scheduled to hit 3.50, 4, 4.50/gal this spring/summer, you'd better get used to it.

If people were not lazy bastards and did not constantly ask the same questions over and over and over then information would be much easier to find. Everyone is free to post what they want, that doesn't mean that I am not going to bust their ***** about it. It the forum way, I was a forum noob many years ago, life there was the same way if not worse.
