Hard to say without physically seeing it, but it's probably similar to other MS replicas (i.e. won't fit as nicely as the original Mazdaspeed one).

Yes, the orignal MS bodykit is expensive, but the fit and paint match is perfect on my silver. Under sunlight, incandescent, or flourescent light the paint matches perfectly. It looks like it came off the showroom floor with the kit.

What about OEM Mazdaspeed front bumper and replicas for other parts if your looking to save some $$$? The most noticeable part will be the front bumper if doesn't fit nicely or if the color is off.

Yes, but you can get them unpainted also.

the MS body kits do NOT come in all colors. Check with a dealer and find out if your color is available. Otherwise get the primered and have it painted by a good shop. A good shop won't just pull the color code and spray, they'll take a reference color of your car (usually the fuel door) and color match to that.

I know MS KIT dont have my color >_<, and I paid couple hundred for ppl to paint it.

but a good paint job dont cost that much ... if u know where to find. Just have them paint and install it yourself. save a few bucks

the rear diffuser is just a cover that attaches to your original bumper and has aero flares (painted to match the car) on each side. The "wrap under" portion is painted gun metal gray like the lower lips of the side skirts and front bumper.

no matter what ms kit you buy the quality is bad. Even authentic mazdaspeed kits are very delicate to any kind of hit it takes on the road. Authentic ms kits are made out of metton material and should sit flush on all rx-8s.

The only problem with the authentic ms kit is once it takes a hit and starts cracking its all impossible to repair. I purchased 2 ms bumpers and i will never purchase any kind of body kit again. They quoted me 1000 to repair the first ms bumper and so i just purchased a new one. The second one had a similar fate and i was just fed up with dealing with fiber glass type material.

If you're looking for straight from the factory material, then you wont find it anywhere especially on ebay since alot of vendors sell crappy *** kits that dont even fit. I say if you wanna do something to your car, get rims, or try and get more out of the engine, but dont waste your money on parts that arent even as strong as the original equipment

I bought the exact JDM kit from PhotoMonkey in that thread. Have it painted, but not on yet. I guess Shine is still selling great replica kits... but the authentic is GONE...

The pre-painted MS kit that I got does match 100% to the body. It is a shade lighter, but really only noticeable if you look closely. The fit is excellent, although I do have a rubbing sound from the front passenger side when I travel over bumps, which could be due to the headlight washers I needed to disconnect on that side. The paint on the wing is also a little blotchy and some wings do not fit flush with the trunk (like mine).

yeah it does match up the car 100%. Like i said in my post above though, ide like to see the ms bumper handle a hit from 0-5 miles an hour and not crack
