mucky colord oil on dipstick?

So i was checking my oil yesterday, and i noticed on the top of the dipstick down to the "F" on it, it was a mucky color, kind of like a muddy color. Anyone have any idea of what this is... i just bought the car used about a week ago from a dealership. Could it be the type of oil they used? And i searched the forums for anything like this, but i wasn't sure what to search for exactly, i checked a couple threads and gave up after no luck.

Completely normal in the cold weather. The engine dose not dispel moister in the cold weather very well and it will accumulate on the dip stick as a peanut butter type substance. A long ride will burn it off and when the warmer weather returns it will clear up.

Do a search there is a lot written on it.
