wow i'm sorry about that. I would have never though to use goo gone. I would have thought it would hurt the clear coat, i thought it was quite acidic. hmm looks good, i'm glad you got it worked out.

 

It's not terribly acidic. It's just citrus oil, plus some other stuff.

I think you have to worry more about BASic substances...as in I hear that eggs (basic PH) will really kill your paint. This is why egging a vehicle is such a evil thing to do.

It would have been knuckle up time for me (not the smartest solution, I know). Glad they didn't key it. ******' haters. ****, the cigarette buts alone would have brought it to blows.

try to keep an eye on er in whatever means you have (ie: video camera, webcam, etc). once you findout who it is, findout what they drive. On a hot summer day throw a few bologna slices on their front hood and watch the paint get eatin away
