Angry My baby got hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, well on friday night I came home at 1am and the next day I woke up and while going to work I checked up on my baby, and what I find a 5inch scratch on my rear left quarter panel, some A**HOLE!!!!!! GOT JEALOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, but if I find who did it its gonna be a unpretty site. When I saw the scratch I wanted to cry so bad, it broke me heart to see her hurt after a week and 1/2 of ownership.

That's the trouble with low grade criminality such as keying cars: it is almost impossible to police. The only option is thus self-help, which isn't always possible since you have to live your life normally and park your car places where it's suceptible to being keyed.

The fact that so many cars get keyed is proof that a small but substantial portion of our citizenry is a bunch of amoral cretins who only obey the law out of fear of getting caught. Once they don't think they'll get caught, out come the keys. Furthermore, most of these incidents are fueled by nothing more than malice and envy.

It's enough to make me hope there really is a special circle of Hell for people who engage in these acts. The police can't catch them, and owners can't stop them. The only hope is some sort of divine retribution, like being forced to sit in an '89 Yugo with no A/C in the middle of a Mexico City traffic jam with Britney Spears blaring on the blown speakers for all eternity. Without any water. Or food. Or a toilet. And with a trucker whose @$$ crack stinks sleeping in the backseat...

Sorry about your car, man.

T.

Sorry to hear about the vandalism - but , join the club. At least yours is only 5" long. My a**hole keying damage is about 5 feet long - the entire length of both right-side doors, and about 1/2 of the rear quarterpanel.

Take it to the best body shop you can find. Dealer will just send to a shop of their choosing, anyway. Go to one that specializes in high end machinery.

People have no respect for anything any more. I don't care if you have an Pinto or a Porsche, no one has the right to deface it because they don't have one. It is bullshit and really pisses me off to see this.

Don't venting, sorry to here about your 8.

Whatever happen to those car alarms that would warn people when they were to close to a car? "Warning, you are too close to this vehicle, stand back"

They're called Viper Alarms, you can get them with or without voice at this website at a pretty good price: http://www.drdetailshop.com/viper.htm

There has gotta be something that can be done about these damn degenerates. Like an alarm that electrifies your cars body to around 50,000 volts. The key touches the car and you'll find the vandel laying next to your car when you come back, wondering what the hell just happened. Of course, I think that too many innocent people would be hurt, I'll keep thinking about it though.
