I had something fly at my car and hit the edge of the passenger wheel weel. It took of the paint. I used touch up paint. No one would notice unless they're inspecting

I got one almost like that from hitting a can some jackass threw out their window.. the touchup paint cover it up PERFECT. I could not even find the scratch and had to look really hard to find it after it had dried. can't say the same for the scratch on my back bumper though. color is way off.

You probably got backed into, mine looked the exact same way after somebody with a trailer hitch backed into me. Luckily I was around and made sure her insurance took care of it.

gee silver_8, how can something like that happen to your silver car? It's unheard of!

On a chip that large it is going to be very hard to cover it smoothly with the touch up paint. You will have to build up the paint with a pinpoint or a microbrush. Leave a couple of hours between applications. Don't try to fill it all at once. Then, when it's all filled and it is inevitably a bit lumpy, use Langka to smooth it to perfection. langka.com

I had something similar happen. I had a rock chip and then went to power wash the bugs off the car and it pealed the paint right off. When I was in for the recalls I had them look at it to see if it was under warranty. The called me back the next day and said they would get it fixed. The repainted the whole bumper and you cant even tell anything was wrong and the total price was $0.

I think it even added about 15 HP when they got it fixed

Uhh...correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a tad bit of overkill? Wouldn't 7500 psi rip the paint right off the car. Maybe you're kidding unless I'm way off base.

yeah basically that's what I meant I know it'll take the paint off, hell last time it I used it, it took the top layer of concrete off my driveway...
