Okay so my insurance company is being a real tease now. I just went in and got quoted at $266/month. I don't know which one to believe. I'm so confused!

Hi. I've been wanting to get an RX-8 for years now and have been browsing this forum for a while. I have found a good deal on an 05 RX-8 in winning blue. I also just talked to my insurance company.... it will cost about $400/month to insure this bad boy I live in the Grater Vacouver region, have been driving for 4 years, 1 ticket and was recently in an accident that I am not at fault for. I knew I would be paying more than for my 04 Sunfire but didn't realize it'd be this much.
Well, I'm done my whining. Good day.

Not trying to recruit or anything...
Join the military (I'm in the air force)
Reasons:
You get good money
Pays for school
but best of all....u get to join USAA
I pay 60 for full coverage, and im only payin full coverage because I got a loan through them too (5.9 apr )
Even better join the Reserves (I'm in the Air Force Reserves)
and...
Only work two days of the month, 15 days of the year
and if your low on money for some reason in your civilian life, call up your supervisor and tell him you want to work a few days and bam! your out of the hole.
not recruiting of course....*cough*

Out of NYC
iTrader: (1)
Im dare to say 99.999999998% of NYC drivers cant drive for ****.
but people here also doesnt give a ****, they just cross without looking around. they all act like "wtf u gonna do, hit me and I will sue you" kind of attitude
Just tonight, when I was trying to make a left turn after red light, this freaking stupid kid just rush out to the road without looking, his grand father (I assume) didnt even stop him.
luckily I saw him and slap on my brakes hard. and the grandfather was starring at me like I did something wrong or some ****. so I roll my windows down and yell the **** out of him. I dont blame the kid, but adults should be watching them, dont let them freaking free style when crossing roads. if I really hit him, they will put all the blame on me and thats going to suck.
This is NYC.

Insurance has gotten way better in Alberta in the last decade. When you got your license at 16 you were looking at 2k+ on basic insurance regardless of the **** box you drove if you were insured on your own (for guys, girls was 1600+). Now it is a touch more 'reasonable'. It is around the 1k mark i think.
