what manual says is ?
so what does the manual say? I'd never realized one could get such variance with different methods. I checked mine this morning, it was about 1/8" below what I assume to be the "F" line and I left it alone (didn't add any). I'm guessing it should be warm but have at least 5 minutes to sit off before checking??

Storage in center console
Avoid putting CD jewel boxes in the center console storage. I put 4 of them in there, flipped the lid down and slid it foreward. All good? - Nope, when trying to access the storage next time, the lid did not slide back enough to release the flip up mechanism. Turns out the lid has two little ledges underneath, and they caught the edge of the top case. In the end a Mazda service guy helped me prye the console lid up and get the top CD out.
