My first 8

My first 8
Just bought my first RX-8 about a week and a half ago. LOVE IT! I've wanted a rotory since high school when my best friend got his RX-7 but couldn't talk my dad into it since he didn't know anything about rotory motors. We've always been American muscle people. I've run dirt track, drag , and even SCCA World Challenge with LG Motorsports and this car handles the closest to a race car than any stock street car I've owned. Glad my wife thought it was pretty. Got a titanium gray 2004 GT. Sun roof, 6 disc, burnt orange and black leather; everything but nav. I love this car and told my wife that we'll have two as soon as it's time to trade in the other car. It mat not be the quickest but you can't beat it through the turns which, in my opinion, is what driving is all about. I think I did alright. I payed $12000 and it only has 62000 mi and one door ding that you really have to be looking for. It was a repo so I only have one key which sucks. Need to get a couple of spares and I am looking for a tire repair kit. Only mechanical trouble has been the coolant light comes on when you get on it hard or if you cruise for an extended time above 85mph but I've read that that is a common problem with the sensor. Glad I found this forum since it helped me make my desission to but it and have really learned a lot about and exceptional car. Thanks everyone. Will post pics as soon as I get them from my iPhone to my computer.
Edit:
Sorry it took so long to get the pics up. Been working nights and the wife has the laptop at school when i'm home and awake.

Welcome to the addiction dude!!! And as for the spare tire kit, its a waste of space. I had one, but the stock inflatable kit it comes with is small and compact and does the job better than you would expect. Plus, if you have the run flats on it still, then you are good to go.
