Finally took my 8 out for the first drive. I bought the car 2 weeks ago and have been waiting for the paper work to be completed while the car sat in my garage. I did not know how to drive a manual so my friend came over and gave me a few lessons. Right now, I'm practicing by driving around the block, but its getting more comfortable, the more I drive. I'm just practicing shifting from 1st to 2nd and stopping.

About the car, its a 2004 Black on Black, GT, 6 spd with Nav and aero kit. Also has a 6 cd changer with bose system. 10k miles on it.

You and your friend should go out and use those higher gears when the roads are sorta empty Take your time getting familiar tho.

Gonna take a little time before I can start driving highway I think. Its a completely different feeling from driving a 76 vette. (see my avatar) I love the interior and electrionics of the 8. Can't wait to head back out tomorrow.
