My First Post, Just got an 8!
Hey guys,
I've been lurking this forum for a few days now after I got my RX8 and just got an activation email!
It's a: 2006 Velocity Red Mazda RX8 with 10,000 KMs (I live in Canada)!!!!! So I guess it's not really broken in yet?
How I got the car in such good condition was because the original owner bought it new, only drove it in the summer, just put brand new winter tires on to drive it this winter and then fell off a roof and died.... Mazda bought it back from the wife and now i have it. Very unfortunate for him and his family though.
So I did have a lot of questions....but then I used that handy search button up there and answered them all...So thanks, now I can be all anti-social =P
Can't wait to start contributing here!

Right now my only problem with it is that the freakin dip stick is black...guess metallic was our of the budget =P So it's hard to see where the oil level is at. As for my Canadian buddies, assuming my oil is a half, would that equal half a liter of oil that is needed?
Thanks everyone! I feel so accepted and welcome haha

Bummer about the previous owner, but great to see that the 8 has gone to a good home! Welcome and thanks for the pics. The 8 is a great car - you'll be obsessed in no time.
