Doesn't look totalled, no. Hopefully there was no mechanical damage. People hope their cars can be repaired after bad accidents but the truth is it'll never drive the same when severe mechanical damage is concerned; you want it to be totalled.

I wish you a speedy and cheap repair and best of luck with employment. Every day I see people losing jobs, homes, cars etc. I had to bust my *** to get into the service and I'm more and more thankful every day for the financial security they've offered me. It really is a scary world out there.

Thank everyone. I'll see what happens. I have insurance, so it would probably be best to let them fix it and get going on the road soon.

Yea not bad at all man. I was lucky with my accident since I have no insurance right now (only a collateral plan on the loan). It ended up not costing very much.

I got the estimate back. It was $6000 of damage. This included all the front bumper pieces and connectors, hood, both head lights, damage to both fenders, hood latch, and some crushed pipes and hoses up front.

I was told the order has already been placed since the insurance company approved it. After they receive them it should be 10-14 days until it is complete.

Hey, don't feel bad. Just the other day I spun out on some gravel going like 15mph and hit a barbed wire fence - completely scratched the hood and dented a bumper. My fault of course, I overcorrected and then locked the tires like a frightened schoolgirl. Oh well, MS time (and maybe some driving lessons)!

That'll use up a decent portion of my savings (I'm a college student), but it's not like I spend any money. I'm a pretty spartan guy (RX8 is starting to change that, of course).
