Well, I have saved every reciept. I have only put Shell VPower into the 8. I had too many reciepts building up in the little rear cubby so I put them all into my excel spreadsheet. Feel free to take a gander. I marked one of my oil changes, that isn't the only one. I still need to find where I have the rest documented.

I am completly satified as far as mileage goes. Its a sports car and it is fun to drive. If I was really concearned about mileage, I would have bought a Prius.

What I find most interesting is the fluctuation in gas prices since March. Over a $1 gap between the high and the low.

 

I did this too...to document my "good" for a sports car fuel economy, but my wife messed me up one fill up...and I've lost track since.

For the life of my RX8:

Lowest: 18.6mpg

Highest: 20.24mpg (100% city):D

Ownership avg: 19.2+mpg (90% city 10% highway) :D

Last two since going over 5K, 20.24 & 19.7mpg (100% city)
