HID Bulb
Are these Philips Bulbs?
I had a similar problem, but with a much lower Kelvin (6K) and after 3 weeks of diagnosing the problem, I simply order some Philips bulbs (6K) and never had a problem again.
This is not to say that your 10K bulbs will not work, but I would kinda of expect to start having some HID problems. Do a search...There are a tons of info on HID and why you should stick with more main stream bulbs.
I suspect that the Bulbs are getting to a high temperature and as a precaution, the ballast is shutting the bulb down.

Interresting. As far as I know, ballasts only support so much, and ballasts that carry 10000k in the U.S. are not common (if even produced). My guess is you'll need new ballasts.
Beyond that, afaik, 10000k's live much shorter lives than lower temp bulbs, are also illegal (but then again so are many other mods), and don't even produce as much lumens as lower k bulbs.
You must want some pretty blue lights.

actually they are blue with a purple tint. kinda look like a high powered black light. looks really sweet with the black car. its only been one day but cops havent said anything. and only driving with the one headlight on. but if i do upgrade my ballast, how would i go on to changing from old to new. i would def. have to splice into some wires? huh? tried to stay away form that, being brand new rx8..
