My oil is white
Brought My 8 to the dealer and they told me it's fine, It's happen because the "Condensation" (french words sorry, Someone could translate that word for me.) Anybody had the same problem, oil white. I used to have that on my Motocross when I was playing to mutch in the water. Water goes inside the engine and I always did a oil change. But i'm surprise to saw that on my car. and the dealer told me no need for a oil change. And they have a recall on that for a 2004 but not on a 2005.
It's a 2005 with less than 1600 miles.
thanks

Not....
Your oil is not white, your dipstick is white - big difference.
If you drained your oil, and it was white, then take it to the dealer, and get it fixed.
The white "sur-le-dipstick" is just condensation, nothing to worry about.

There is always water vapor present from combustion of fuel. If that water vapor comes in contact with a cool surface, it condenses (like water condenses on the outside of a glass of ice-water). The dipstick tube area of the engine gets cooler than the rest of the engine block. Some small amount of water condenses there and combines with the small amount of oil in the tube to form an emulsion -- oil & water -- like mayonaisse. It only happens in that location. The engine internals and the main oil supply gets hot enough to drive off the water everywhere else.
