First, go read this...

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com...oureBroke.aspx

Then ask yourself why moving from an '05 car to an '06 car, at a dealership, is a bad financial idea... can you say "depreciation hit"?

Then last of all, ask yourself why you're being suckered into doing this all over again, entering your 3rd car-deal in as many years, carrying large amounts of negative equity into your next new car.

Stick with the 8, cut back on the mods, and ride it out until you've got some equity in the car. Then in a couple years you can sell it and get something you really want. Unless of course you just HAVE to have a new tC (just like you HAD to have a new 8, when you already had a virtually new one)

Is it any wonder there are so many people with bad credit, when they think getting a new car every year and going upside-down on the loan/payment is worth it?

i swear, conparing the Scion community to the RX8 community is like light and day. the TC people are helpful and aren't jackasses like 90% of people here are.

Deffintly glad I switched over to a forum where people have more intelligence than to reply with 'good job' all day.

anyway, the 06 key (flat one), can it be reprogrammed to another 06 car?? if so, i have one to sell... only thing left off of it. Don't they go for ~$150 from the dealer?
well, I guess they can afford to be nice when you are driving a Toyota and living witih your parents. You win!

oh btw good job

Well, I got approved for a 39k loan for the 8.
Still had it, and got approved for 19k for the tC.
And I don't live with anyone, sorry.

Now back to my question, can the 06 keys be reprogrammed to someone elses 8?

They will give you enough rope to hang yourself, which you seem to be doing admirably.

Haha, thanks but nah I'm beyond fine.

Not hard considering I'm 24 and a manager in a Federal Agency.

Oh, and for the people that PM'd me, its not the switchblade key, but the flat one that had the key free device or whatever its called, and i do have the 4 digit code still on it.
