Naming Your 8

Just wondering how many of you have named your 8 and what you've named her (or him).

I'm leaning toward Audrey or Chloe, no particular reason why. Zoe sounds good too, but it doesn't fit for some reason. Any suggestions?

I usually incline towards using a name that says something about the car, in this case it'd have to be something japanese-german since it's got some weird parents (felix wankel and the japanese)

The granny mobile - as in "Quick Robin, to the Bat mobile". Only we don't go so quick until we get inside....

vapourit.... 8's are a very smart breed, but there is no way your's will ever learn a name that long. Stick to 1 or 2 syllables at most.

Mine's name is REX. not that original, but it just works for him. I sometimes call him SEXY REX or the REXINATOR!!

Bella.

My mom and a friend sort of named my car for me. I was going to name her but I hadn't decided yet except that it needed to be female because of the navigation. My friend calls me Bella and said I should name my car that. I wasn't sure. My mom starting calling her Bella, so now my car is named Bella. It fits. It means beautiful.

Tyrogue-Rex

Tyrogue, The Scuffle Pokémon. It is always bursting with energy. To get stronger, it just keeps on fighting, even if it loses. Although it is small, it cant be ignored as it'll slug any handy target without warning. To brush it's skills up, it will challenge anyone. It has a very competititve Spirit. It gets stressed out if it does not get to train every day. When raising Tyrogue, the trainer must establish and uphold training methods.

Rex

To play rex, to play the king; to domineer. [Obs.]

The Pokemon face of the '8 and my younger daughter inspired this name.

Mine has two names: The Mazda and The 8.

Some might say that I am not very creative.

****-o-stick?? But I'd be reluctant to call her that in public. When I couldn't figure out the perfect name in two years, I just gave up.

I have only had my 8 for less than a month so I havent chosen a name yet nor do I know if I will. In the movie "gone in 60 seconds" it seems that most cars have a set name that go with them (well sports/exotic cars) I wonder if perhaps that RX8 has a name given to it by car thieves. Ive been thinking aout naming my car Stacy or Brooke. but I think Stacy is a Ferrari lol.

I named mine Gloria after my grandma ( may she R.I.P). I wanted my car to be a women since i am a man and it kinda of made sense for the car to be a woman.

I named my car Jezebel after the Sade song, "when she moved she knew how to bring the house down, can't blame her for her beauty, she wins with her hands down." But most of the time I call her Jezzy for short.

Keeny...so named by my grandmother who walked circles around her saying "wow, that is a keen car...now that is keen...what a keen color, etc." Seemed fitting.

Gina Pahl. Gina - short for Regina (feminine version of Rex?). Pahl - 8 in Korean (or so I was taught at my tae kwon do school).

And thank goodness it's not. Yours is the only post so far that doesn't make me want to move this whole thread into a YGBSM section.
