Navagation question

My dealer set a marked point on my nav and I cant remove it so now when I drive it keeps recaluting. how do you remove the marked point?

I think you need to press down on the button(joy stick) and then select "delete destination".

yeah, all you have to do is in the main map area (where it shows yoru cars and the streets) click the joystick down, you'll have all kinds of options. One of them is marked something like "disable navigation" or something like that. I think it's the last option. GL.

What they mentioned will delete the current destination and stop the annoying "recalculating" crap. If you want to delete the marked point in its entirety you have to go through the menu. I'm not sure the exact options to take, but it's marked "Edit Marked Points" or something similar.

I know, but I have not set a point since I got the new nav disc and its not the same as before

I got the same problem, can't seem to get rid of them either. Also did Mazda send you the new disc? or did ya buy it?

the mazda disc is for the updated SOFTWARE. you have to buy the updated MAP disc.

oh and id suggest for the delete marked point. i can explain it ... but it was more fun to use my "read the manual" smilie ...

Setup Menu>Edit Marked Point>Edit>Select a Marked Point from the List>Delete

better?

thank you but that delets it from the history but not off the main screen which keeps recalculating the location

hmmmm ... and you already tried pushing the joystick down to get the menu on the left? you should be able to scroll down that menu and hit "Stop Navigation" or sumpin to that effect

Simply press POS and that will get rid of the marked point.
