navigation service fee ?

I have the nav - no fee. I do expect a letter from either Mazda or Navtech eventually offering to sell an updated map DVD - however you can keep using the DVD that comes with the car for as long as you are happy with the content.

On a serious note, and to keep it on topic,.... the only Nav fees that I think we'll ever incur, and that would be optional, would be DVD map updates that may come out annually or maybe every 2 years.

Thanks for that info. Do you have a link for the makers of the DVD disc? I assume we have the most current version already.

I went to www.navtech.com - map discs can be ordered online. They don't have the RX-8 listed yet, but I assumed the price was the same as for the Porsches, BMWs, etc.
