Navigation use in motion
I believe I have the original software for the NAV system as it does not display the Mazda logo on boot and address input is not as depicted on the Mazda website.
That said, I have noticed that I can use the address function and all nav functions while the car is moving. I other cars most functions are disabled while the vehicle is in motion.
So my question is, does the later version(s) of the software still allow this?
I am not complaining, it is great not having to frantically try to find a POI between stoplights...

The Navi in my '06 RX8 GT locks out addy input when the car is in motion. On my FX45, I was able to install a switch in the vehicle speed sensor to get around it... has anyone done this for the RX8? Or does someone have a wiring diag to ID the wire coming out of the navi disc player?
