Need advice on catalytic converter
So my cat isn't working too well and I'm gonna need to put a new one in so I can pass californias damn high emmissions laws. Need help on where to buy a new midpipe with a cat for at least cheaper then then the dumb dealership. I've seen some aftermarket ones on eBay going for $300 but I can't find any reviews on the quality. Any help is great.
And by the way, only buying a replacement if I can't pull a friends just for the smog test.
Thanks a lot guys

Im in cali as well. Mines a 2004 though.
I can smell it running rich and the rattling noise is bugging the hell out of me.
