Need Advice: Next mod to get?

Right now I'm torn between what will be the next thing I dump my money into for my Nordic Green '04 MT. Right now I have:

Clear Corners
20% Tint
App package front Air Dam (only, just added it)
(not much, but I only recently decided I didn't want to keep it stock)

The look I'd like to go for include the front air dam with the MS side skirts (non-replica, I want to keep it authentic), and the app package rear flares. Est cost: $950 plus installation.

Also, I would like to get the newer MS dual muffler exhaust. Est cost: $675 plust installation.

So, any suggestion on which one I should get first? Exhaust, or the skirts and rear flares? Hopefully I'll have both of them by mid summer, but right now I can't decide which one to get first.

I voted exhaust, because for some reason, I enjoy listening to the car over looking at it...as freaking weird as that sounds.

i voted exhaust because i'm more of a guy who does performance mods first before appearance, bbut you should go with whatever you want to do first.

Yes, it is manual. However, I am trying to keep this car completely Mazda, and I don't think they offer a short shifter. I'll take it into consideration, though, as alternatives are welcome!

The only real problem with the exhaust system is that, from my research on this site, exhaust alone doesn't really add much performance wise over stock (unless I went with a mid-pipe, but that's not going to happen), so it kind of falls in the 'appearance' category, too.

they'll never notice. The short shifter uses your stock shift ****, just reduces the distance between shifts. You'll love how sporty it makes your car feel.
I recently went back to the stock shifter just to see what it felt like and I couldn't wait to put the RP unit back in!

I once heard Richard Paul mention that he looked at the Mazdaspeed short shifter and stands by his product as a superior alternative. (I don't know if the MS one was ever for sale to the general public. If it was, I never seem to see it)

Clears and tint first IMO.

EDIT: Haha I suck at life. Just re-read the thread and you already have that stuff. I'd go for the exhaust.

Yeah, I can't find a short shifter listed on the MazdaUSA website. Do you have a link for the RP one, and a price / estimated installation cost? I can always add it to the list of things to do.

I say exhaust, at least that's what I'm planning for my first mod.

Thanks for the input everyone. Exhaust seems to be ahead by a bit, which kind of surprises me since it doesn't add any real hp. And I will definitly be adding that short shifter to my list, since it seems like a very easy install.

You will love the exhaust.

Though, it's $675 now? Golly. I got mine for $500ish last year.

I'm surprised by the lack of enthusiasm that the MS side skirts are getting. Do people just not like this skirt, is it an all-or-nothing with the the MS kit, or is there another reason?
