There is a small computer move coming up in 2 weeks. That will be a day or two worth of work.

I just spun out on the street. It has been sleeting here and the roads got slick. I was driving my sons car, so I was unfamiliar with the way it handled.

There are a couple of characters that think they can hide things from the Mods, just because they can't see them.

I wasn't in here yesterday. I picked up my car with the new (used) trans wed. night about midnight and drove to my mothers home. 290 miles on one tank of gas. Funny on how slowing down (for bad weather) will improve mileage. I haven't filled it up yet, so I don't know what kind of mileage I got.
BTW, trans is working fine. Temps here in Michigan are in the 20's. I here in Chicago it got down to 15.

The best I got before was 250 to a tank. I thought 300 to a tank was unobtainable. I usually drive at about 80 on the expressway. I guest , just like they say, if you slow down, you get better mileage. Wether it's piston or rotary powered.

A trip of that distance, I would have given up the 2 mpg to save the time the higher speed would have given me.

The trans wasn't a rebuild. Just a used one. Apparently, I got lucky and got a good one. Total for the install was $1250.
