That sounds weird. I wonder if this is what is causing some people to have dead batteries that have been reported here intermittently? I don't know if it will work, but try pulling the battery power long enough to reset all systems in the car.
Maybe it's just getting ready to celebrate the New Year in it's own way.

It's 50 here. High for tomorrow is supposed to be around 25.

 

Ours will go back to the more seasonable upper 20's.

 

We are getting thunderstorms and have lost all our snow cover.

 

It isn't too often that Chicago is warmer than LA.
