NEED HELP finding Dark Chrome OEM Wheels!!

Hey guys/gals, i'm looking for the Dark Chrome 18'' wheels by Mazda. I've already started a WTB thread + i've searched through many threads and pm'd as many users (w/ these wheels) as I could.

I'm just starting this in case a forum member see's a set on sale or is planning to sell a set, and they can recognize my need for them and hopefully let me know.

The lowest price i've seen on these wheels are $330 a piece NEW. But i'm looking for the best deal, whether that be NEW or USED.

Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

Ever think about powder coating your OEM's to a color close to dark chrome? Would be much cheaper.

I have thought about that but is there a place that does professional powder-coating? I have a base 04' Automatic with the 16'' wheels and i'm sure as hell not going to try to make anything out of those lol

I was thinking of buying the oem silver 18'' wheels but I don't know the whole powder-coating thing so I have no idea how to approach that...

You can find a powder coat shop in every state, check the phone book or use Google. Here is just one of many links you can find http://www.customcoaters.com/. Mine have been coated black since 11/2004 and still look fine.

so to get that OEM dark chrome finish, do I get it powder-coated gun-metal and then polished? because I love the way those wheels look on the rx-8 so if I powder-coat, I'd want as close to this as possible...

i watched american chopper in discovery channel, they take their parts to a person called nub which does excellent job in painting.

yeah it's perfect for the look that i'm going for. I'm going to call some of the places in Jersey that do the powder-coating and I guess just go from there..

But if anyone hears or sees any deals on the dark chrome mazda wheels, PLEASE let me know :-) Thanks!
