need pics of a rx-8 in nordic green

Hey guys,

I need a good picture of a 8 in Nordic green.I am pretty sure I want the titanium grey, but I want to see the green. The website doesn't show the colors well enough for me.I am asking because there is a green 6 speed base model at a dealer, but i don't want to make the long trek to just see the color. It is the only one around me in that color. Also could someone send me a link or something of the white they have in foreign markets?I heard it is coming here, and that would be my first choice I think. Thanks in advance.

You Have To See It In Person. I Dont Really Like Green Cars At All And Went To Buy A Yellow But Saw This One And Thought It Was Black But At 25' It Started Turning Blue Then Green. It Is Unique Youll Get A Lot Of Looks From Other Rx8 Drivers Thats For Sure.

I also have the Nordic Green...and I didn't go to the dealership to get a green one. I wanted to get the titanium one....but the green was awesome in person.

It really is impressive....go see all of the colors for yourself. You can't go wrong with a 8 period, regardless of color. The Nordic Green looks black at night...and sparking green in the daylight......all depending on shading and light angle.

Good luck!!

Check out this thread for more pictures.

I really love the color because it changes so much in different light. The service people at the dealer write "blue" on the service tag but other people have said they thought it was black. I like the fact that it's a little less of a common color. On the other hand, it's not a "notice me" color like titanium or red. It doesn't seem to turn as many heads which may be a good or a bad thing depending on your personality The other thing which I regret a little is that it's a dark color and with the black interior it really soaks up the heat. In the summer you'll need the AC more so than in a lighter colored car. Regardless, the car looks awesome especially after a few coats of Zaino. As others have said, you've got to see it in person.. The pictures don't do it justice. Hey, you know? You can't lose. All the RX-8 colors are good and just think about the driving experience...(which I did a lot of while driving my wallowing rental car down 101 in San Francisco this evening).

In all the pictures that I've seen of Nordic Green, it looks very similar to the Montego Blue that Mazda had used on their Miatas and RX-7's in the 90's. I haven't seen a Nordic Green RX-8 in person yet, but now I'm curious.. Is it the same color as Montego Blue, just re-named?

They write blue on mine too. It's an amazing color- I get a lot of double takes with people trying to figure out what color it really is. My first choice was titanium too, but after I saw the green color swatch on the wall at Detroit that was all she wrote.

It's not quite as obviously blue as the Montego Blue, is darker, and it has more purple in it than the MB. But yes, they are very similar.

No, it's a different color than the montego blue. I haven't seen this color before on other Mazda models, tho' I haven't checked the color options on he Mazda 6 or 3. It's a hard color to describe because it changes in different light and it has metal flakes in it that reflect different colors in bright light. Think dark, dark green or "black alternative" and you'll have a basic idea of the color.
