Need some advice...
I posted this on the Canada forum, but figured I would get more responses here, so here goes:
I just ordered in a 2004 silver GT 2 weeks ago and I went to inspect it today.. but found out that the driver side door was damaged! There are 2 dents about an inch long on the driver's side door and the rear door is scuffed up with bad scratches about the palm of my hand. I figure that they need to repaint the front door to make it look like new again. They would fix it, but would not even take $500(CAD) off the price. I figure I'm going to walk out on this deal... any thoughts? Thanks!

As hard as it might be to do, I think I'd walk out as well. I don't even think I'd take $500...With that kind of damage, I'd be looking for a much bigger discount and the bodywork had better be damn near factory perfection before I'd even THINK of taking damaged product. They'll sell it to some guy who doesn't know any better, but at least they'll be stuck paying for the damage.

Why did you have to order a 2004? The 05's have been out for 2 months!! I agree with rhawb...I would walk on the deal. You will find another '04 or just get an '05. Are you saying you are paying MSRP/Retail for the car?

Any other car, I'd walk out on... but I specifically ordered a 2004 because of the 1.9% finance rate and it was the last new 2004 in western Canada. And I also got a good deal with the help of a few fellow forum members here...
But even if I signed the yellow paper, could I still get my deposit back?
