Hey everyone, I've been trolling around the forums for some time before getting my 8. Basically just reading all of the helpful information that has been posted around by its members to know ahead of time to care for the 8.

Well, I've finally got her 2 days ago, had search for a camera to takes pics during that time period.






Its a 2005 Touring, MT with 27,xxx miles on it along with my favorite color for it!

Although I'm still getting used to the 8 as I do not have too much experience with standard, but hopefully I'll get it soon.

Btw..Clear corners are a must on the white. And I would even go with some black strakes.

Congratulations! As many others have said, welcome to the addiction, and it truly is an addiction. I keep coming back to wankel powered cars (and motorcycles) over and over again for the past 35 years. Once you've had wankel, you never go back to piston...

BTW, I'm very jealous of your license plates! You get to drive your car in Hawaii!!

 

Thanks for the welcome guys! As for the clear corners, I never really considered it too much. The first mod on my mind was actually the AP, but now that I look at some of your suggestions for the clear corners I think I might actually make that my first mod!

 

Wow I would love to be able to cruise around Hawaii in my 8. I bet there are some nice roads.

Well, down by Waikiki the roads are pure trash. But going away from there in any direction I suppose they are pretty smooth.

If your able to get on base.. at schofield. Idk if you are military or not. But on Cooley mountain there is this great road that goes right through it to maui city on honolulu. Its all army base untill like the last half mile of the road heading towards Maui.. not "Maui" the island but the city on honolulu. Its great all turns no straight aways.

Oh and the "girls" in clear high heels in waikiki scare the **** outta me HAHA!

Unfortunately, you can only go so far on Oahu before you have to go back to where you started.

Yeah Cooley mountian is on base. So if your military you can go ahead and take that road. I suggest it its fun as hell, and very little traffic.

You need some clear side marker lenses aka clear corners.

 

Yeah I do intend on getting those sometime soon. Until then I'll just study the DIY guide here in the forums.
