New 8 owner and need help.

I got a 2005 about a week ago, my first one. It is an absolutly beautiful vehicle, but I'm having a few issues that concern me. First off I bought it used (only 11k miles on it) and it still have the warranty until 2012 or 86k miles.

My concerns: Everytime I brake I get a loud squeel. I took it back up to the dealer when this started and they said it was because they were new pads. I have driven it for a week and the sound has not gone away.

In the past 2 days I've notice a grinding sound only when I'm in gear and moving. Today on the way to work the grinding sound became more noticable. When I started her up this morning, she sounded fine while the clutch was still in. When I let the clutch out she started running very rough and whining a little.

Any help or guidance/advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what's normal in the 8's as this is my first, but the problems I described cannot be normal (i hope).

ok....the brakes squealing is a prob most 8 owners have until they change pads...personally mine squealed a couple times till i tore it down cleaned them and have not got in since...the clutch noise is just the throwout bearing whine that EVERYONE here has...no big dear as the grinding when in gear u will have to give some more details.... other than that welcome to the addiction and remember....A REDLINE A DAY KEEPS THE CARBON AWAY!!!!!

I thank you all for the help and advice. I'm very excited. I'm taking her up to get the new ECU flash on Monday. The grinding sound is a back plate touching the the back of the rotor. The dealership will fix that as part of warranty.

yep my 8 was the same the clutch going into gear is normal for that sound but hte brake squeeling was from the dealership they just wash the car and leave the calipers and rotors hella wet so it built up rust and they said warranty doesnt cover it so im just saving for some sick brakes
