New accessory website

Good Evening Club Members.

It is a pleasure for me to be here as a new member and vendor. Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Bob, and I am the Parts Manager at Tustin Mazda. Tustin Mazda is a stand alone Franchise Mazda dealership in the city of Tustin, California. We are one of the largest Mazda dealerships in California and the recipient of Mazda’s “President Award”.

Recently, we developed a new website to offer factory Mazda and MAZDASPEED accessories online at discounted prices…and what better place to tell people about our site than here among Mazda enthusiasts. You can find us at www.ocmazdaspeed.com or via email at parts@ocmazda.com.

ocmazdaspeed.com features Factory Mazda and MAZDASPEED Accessories for all Mazda models back to model year 2003. Once there, you will find that ocmazdaspeed.com is easy to navigate, offers aggressive pricing and doesn’t overcharge for shipping. Our goal is not to be the cheapest, anyone can make that promise. We want to offer aggressive pricing and great service, just like we do every day in our dealership.

This is somewhat new territory for us, so we welcome your feedback regarding our site. And of course, we are here to help you in any way we can. Call on us with any questions or support you might need, and we will do our best to assist.

Please visit us and let us know what you think, and thank you for allowing us to participate here in the club. It is our pleasure.

Cheers,
Bob

Visually appealing site, nicely done. Did notive that I get a runtime error whenever I search Audio/Electrical - RX8 - 2004. Otherwise, nice site and your prices are very competitive.

Looking forward to doing business!

Hey LionZoo,
Yes we stock the originals. They are not on our website as they are an original part, not an accessory. But I am happy to sell them to you and honor the same pricing structure. They would be $4.38 each and a few bucks for shipping. If you want to email direct with credit card info etc. I'll get them to you ASAP.

Ordered my MS wing from you guys on Thursday.

Only thing about the site was there was no place that says ETA of purchased goods. I called Tustin Mazda and the rep in the parts department was very friendly and told me it should be shipped out around next Tuesday. Looking forward to receiving it.

It is good to see so many great vendors supporting this site. I know it pays for our bandwidth, but it really helps the members find those parts they are looking for. Thanks for your support.

Thank you for your support!

I am looking into a way to change the generic response message on the shopping cart to provide a more personalized message with an ETA. We receive too many orders to do them manually, so I am trying to automate it, but with some personalized information. The shopping cart provider gives me limited flexibility here, but I am not giving up yet.

Thanks again and enjoy the wing. We have installed several at the store and it looks killer!

Welcome!
I'll have to hit you up for a 2008 RX8club Calendar Sponsorship...
Nice site. Loads quickly and easy to navigate.
The only "uncomfortable" thing I noticed was having to scroll through identical items in different colors.
Example: MS front Bumper... is listed several times. You may want to consider trying something
like this to save bandwidth and our eyeballs (just a suggestion):

Looks like a great site! I was looking to upgrade my sway bars, and I always liked the Mazdaspeed version.

Other vendors who post on this site offer discounts to members of this forum. Any promotions like that? I guarantee it would help increase your business....

I am totaly open to it. What would be your suggestion to identify a member when the order comes through the website at website prices. I guess we could handle it via email and bypass the site?

Our site has every accessory number, but if that site doesn't have all the part numbers, you need VIN to get the right paint code without the member having to provide paint codes for a part that might come painted in 10 different colors. Also, regarding other parts, there might be different parts required for the same model year based on production date. VIN narrows down exactly what came on, or is needed for your specific car. That's my guess at least as to why they are asking for VIN.

Hello Bob,

Welcome to the forum. I have to say, Tustin Mazda's parts dep is very good. Last time I called for some info and was treated very nicely with good info. I know you are in parts, however, if I purchase an OEM or MS wing, would you know how much installation would be? Thanks

The car cover price is about $50 less than the mazdausa website. Do you know if it is water proof? I know it says it will fit a car with or without the spoiler, but what about a car with the factory spoiler and appearance package?

Thanks

Hi Thanks for the good words. If you ever receive anything less than good treatment, let me know asap. I like to keep my finger on the pulse. I would have to double check with the service folks, but I believe the labor to be about 2 hours or somewhere around $200.

Not an accessory from Mazda. If your adding to a vehicle that did not come standard with it, might not be possible without serious cash. Call us direct and let's talk through it.

Should not be any problem with the factory appearance package and spoiler. The cover is Storm guard and weather resistant. Have not owned one myself however. Maybe one of the other members have some longer term experience with it? What do you say guys?

Hey Bob,
Welcome to the club! For those of you who haven't dealt with Bob or Tustin Mazda's parts department, they're a great group of people and I'll personally vouch for Bob.

Hmm, now to think of what else I need from you guys....think I've bought just about every mazda accessory out there already. I'll have to swing by soon to get my car serviced, swipe another catalog from you guys, and let you take a peak at the new stereo.

I actually sent you guys and e-mail, but I figure you would reply here faster. I wanted to know if you can get me the screws for the MS Spoiler? the stupid things fell out after a while, and I havent been able to find the same one. Every Mazda dealer I go to tells me they can get them. I really don't want to see the top part of my spoiler fly off, so I hope you can help me out.
