Well almost.

I've had a heck of a time getting the cash for this vehicle liquidated. Delays and delays and delays, and all this time (about 2 weeks now) my 8 has been sitting in the dealer's lot waiting for me.

Well not any more!

I still won't have my cash freed up until Tuesday, but the guys at Bill Britt Mazda (Fredericksburg, VA) were absolutley AWESOME and let me take my boy out on an "extended test drive" on Saturday afternoon. He's still sitting in my driveway, and he's mine until Monday night, when my temp registration runs out. The even more awesome part is they told me to stop by Monday night and they'll just write me another one until Tuesday.

So to summarize... livitup == happy. RX-8 == incredible. Bill Britt Mazda == Awesome. Not to promote them too much, but I'm getting an awesome deal too... about 1000 below what carpoint says invoice is... Jim, my salesman, said they've marked everything down 3000 below invoice, and 8's they're selling at their cost, just to get rid of them (they've got about 20, I think).

VERY NICE of that dealership!
The color is neat in the shade, looks like a cranberry-maroon. Would have been neat for a black cherry color, like the nordic green but red based.

Congrats~! Welcome to the family! My dealer did the same thing..I had to liquidate a ton-o-cash and they let me take it w/o question before I cut them the final check.

Way to show trust and customer loyalty.
