How about I create a different spelling with it making it ducKT tape to please everyone?
I am even to mean for the leghumpers to come out that's funny. I am not complaining though because I rather them hide.
As far as car hunting goes... Haven't found much, trying to avoid 04 and silver as much as possible but it seems to be most of what I am finding.. I have found three I am going to look more into within the next few days maybe it'll work out... any suggestions as to what to look for specifically or engine wise besides it being original engine and paperwork as well as receipts for car history, oil changes and etc..... Would be helpful to know

How did i miss this? Too busy at work lately I guess.
HELLO RACH!!!!
Good luck on your 8 hunt. Have you driven one yet at least? As warned before, it is addicting. Def. get in touch with the SARX guys. They'll keep you pointed in the right direction. Maybe.

Why CA?
HELLO Fuztupnz!!!!
Have not gotten lucky enough to test drive one yet, have only been browsing, my loan finally cleared on my truck so now I am able to hunt. Hopefully I can stay in touch with most people on here because everyone is truly a big help.
I am clueless but interested so hopefully within time after getting one I will be able to say I am some what better experienced. Been reading threads and information like crazy as well as taking input in wherever I can.

Welcome and Good luck with the buy. You should come down to San Antonio some time during one of our get togathers.
There are actually two local members that drive "guy" cars. One person even named his car Raul.

I have tried here, auto trader, craigslist, and have only been finding handfuls around where I am.
Once I get my 8 hoss I will try to make a trip down there to check it out, San Antonio isn't to far.
I do have pictures and I will post a few..... if you explain to me on how to do it because I have tried and can't seem to

Easiest way is to use the little mountain icon and paste the address of an a pic already online (photobucket, flicker, etc)
Picture links are broken (oh the irony) but the directions are still easy to follow.

I grew up in San Antonio, have a brother in Dallas but I am in Northern Ca now. I like Texas, when I am fed up with California Texas is near the top of my short list of places to move.
Your right, mostly 04's and not a lot of lower miles cars. But I found a few. Test driving a forum members car and having an experienced rx8 owner check out cars with you will help you make the right choice.
In San Antonio:
A good deal on an 05 with 43K miles, but its sunlight silver: http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/2440375481.htmlnl
Or an 08 with 70K miles. More money, higher miles in Galaxy Gray http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/2395909495.html
Dallas/FW:
On 06 white with 31K miles http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/2427055809.html
Hurst Texas:
06 Black 25K miles http://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/cto/2440887364.html

Here is a few pics to your request...
Do I belong in an 8?
Here is what I used to drive until it was totaled thanks to people racing behind me at a red light not knowing how to use their brakes and pushed me into two other cars
RIP Olivia
Want pics after wreck let me know...
And thank you highway I will look more into them..

Going back to the beginning, it was developed in Holland by putting glue on the back of "doek" which is Dutch for a kind of very durable cotton fabric. Transliterated to English it became "duck," and the fabric is still called that. The tape name eventually munged into "duct" which is kind of funny because it's not the right stuff to use on ductwork.
