Thumbs up New Guy, new RX-8

Hey guys!
I've been lurking around here for a while untill I could get my 8.. But I finally got it so I thought I would introduce myself..

I am 22 I live in Nashville, TN. and I am a disabled veteran (from the Marines) I am in a wheelchair that I got from a motorcycle wreck (2003 R1) . But its all good because I am getting compensation pay from the government plus retirement pay (medically retired from the Marines) plus some grants from the government (for car and house)

I got a red RX-8 with the sport package and a spoiler. My dealer had to ship it in from Georgia overnight. He even drove to my house to get the down payment because I didn't have a ride LoL.

So for I've had my eye on them for a year and I LOVE IT! I plan on putting veilside front end and side skirts along with greddy turbo, intake and exhaust. (I plan on having you guys help me decide exactly what I want)

:D

are you para or amputee? You should be able to get rebate from either Mazda or Ford for installation of handicap controls.

BTW, welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum! Like wedge said, you should be able to get some kind of love from mazda or ford for controls.

Is the situation (wheelchair) just temporary?

Thanks for your service!
