I was talking about his specific car, because he said he had an 04 GT. That model should have the 6 disc. I've seen this before on multiple car forums, where owners buy a used car and don't really know what model they own. The dealer either misinforms them or they have an option that they believe makes it a certain trim line. I'm not absolutely sure, but I believe you have to have leather in order to have the GT package. So that may be the most telling.

I thought it was the detergents that some oil companies put in their higher grades. Remember the Mobil ads where the "o" turned into a little washing machine?
Do modern octane boosters leave any kind of residue? Back in the tetra ethyl lead days, higher octane left more deposits than low. If you needed high test and could afford Amoco, your spark plugs would last a lot longer.

K...one sec...
Took pics...
1. eject all cd's
2. push load - it will blink...wait...then...in and will load in an empty slot
3. repeat to load again...
