New Jersey Port?
Did anyone ever confirm that RX-8's had reached port in NJ? I assume they did since JAX cars arrived on Friday of last week. Thank God mine was in that batch.

My dealer is in Mass. My car is in Port in New Jersey as we speak. From current posts it looks as if it will hit the Dealer possibly next week. How do I nail down the day the car will arrive? I would like to be there we the truck arrives.
Do the dealers get a call prior to the shipment? Or is it a surprise to them as well?..........We are finally on the Homestretch....

someone at the dealer knows when the truck is coming ahead of time. they need to have staff on hand to "receive" the inventory and park them where they are supposed to go. and for a brand new vehicle i will bet you everyone knows when the truck is coming.

Boy I wish I really knew when the truck was coming. Unfortunately, we only get a general idea within a day or two of when we can expect deliveries. The transport companies are independent companies and its totally in their hands once Mazda releases the cars to them. Our inventory reports will show "released" when Mazda turns the cars over to the transport company and "shipped" when they are assigned to a truck. I've seen cars come in the day the report shows released and up to a week after they show shipped. It can really get frustrating when your waiting for a specific car!

i got a question, what if someone parking your car cracks it up? god thatd suck, im not even gunna think about it! doubt it ever happens though, wow this is gunna be sweet!

Unfortunately, that does happen! I'll be personally supervising the unloading and grabbing the keys as soon as the transport driver gets it off the truck. I'll probably be the most unpopular employee at the dealership that day, but I really don't care!
