There is only a buck or two difference per tank, between low and high numbers. Why get paid two dollars per tank to drive slow? Might as well not have rx8.

I once managed to accelerate slow for a whole tank, instead of taking off with fast rx8 acceleration every time. I managed to travel 3 more miles than usual before the low fuel indicator came on. Not worth it.

 

I can't seem to go more than 225 miles before the low fuel light comes on. I drive it hard, I drive it under 4K for a whole tank, it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've tried both premium and regular. So my philosophy is drive hard on the cheapest gas I can find

 

Old car was 9mpg, RX8 is doing about 15-16mpg (driving like a fool)

I guess I am doing my part to save the planet. With an 80 percent improvement over my last car, this one is almost considered a Hybrid!

I would personally club a baby seal to get 1mpg better gas mileage tho.

Do you BBQ or roast baby seal?

 

I've seen 8mpg in the city before and 24.3 highest all highway...don't even ask how I got the 8mpg a little too much traffic/lead foot everywhere haha

11.7 is my worst, I got that like 6 months ago. I average 17-20
