New Member - Looking for an RX8
Hi everyone - Not new to Mazda, but looking to perhaps buy a new RX8.
I have owned 2 RX7s, including a turbo, and 2 Miatas, including a Mazdaspeed Miata. I am currently without a sports car and missing it.
I know a lot about rotarys but little about the RX8. I'm in Southern California and looking for some advice from experienced owners, especially in this area.
Would like to know if anyone in this area knows the best dealers to purchase from, has any good contacts, and who is offering the best deals. I am looking for a car with the Grand Touring Package and generally loaded.
I have found a Gray one equipped as I want for approximately $28,900 S Plan price before tax and license. This is an 07 loaded. I think I can do better and that is why I'm looking to you guys, and girls, for some advice.
Thanks in advance.

If you're looking for something specifically in California, the Regional Forum would probably be best...

I was at a dealership this evening, I was able to get the sales guy to $300 over invoice. Mazda has a $1500 cash back, so that should be on top of the deal you worked out. There is also something called a MAC credit for $1000. Not sure what that is. Your price of $28,900 is good if it is for a 07 grand touring.
Personally, I would ask your dealer to search for a 06. There are still plenty there and you can get a brand new one for around $22k after the rebates.
