Well, purchasing a vehicle with nearly 30k miles on it, one of your concerns has to be what is left of the warrenty. You might want to get a Carfax report on the VIN. The reason I hate buying used is because you never know what the prior owner has done (or hasn't done in terms of services).

Ours was marked down to get it off the lot, had been sitting since August, we bought in November. They knocked off another grand to finance through mazda. We didn't even have to haggle, that was the sticker price on the window.

I just bought a 2004 Sunlight Silver RX-8 with 9k miles for $20,800. But, it does have the sport package, which isn't as nice as the Touring model. Do a little more research. A lot of individuals are selling there RX-8's on the web. I found one in St. Louis for $21,000 that had the Grand Touring package. The seats were red and black leather and it had a red exterior to match. I would have bought it, but I had a trade-in. Go to websites like www.autotrader.com, cars.com, or E-bay motors. You'll be surprised at the deals you will find. You can also find one with significantly less miles for a small amount more.
