"New" motor ?? NOT
#51
Called them today and of course the owner wasn't there. Directed me to some manager who was too busy to talk at the time. Left me a message later saying to bring the car in and they would wash it (I already did that on Sat.). No mention of the dirty motor, out of fuel, low oil (found that Saturday) or crappy attitude from the service writer. To top it off, he ends his message with "no need to call me back, I'm busy all day".
I have to go in there on Wednesday to get some paperwork. That will be my last trip to Ed Howard Mazda. To everyone in the Sarasota Florida area, avoid them, they suck.

Chris please update us when you talk to the owner today and make sure you call MNAO and get this all on record with them. they may call the dealer for you for resolution

Residues and deposits left behind over time will effect engines and spark plugs performance particularly at a high RPM.
If you are having pinging problems try switching to a higher octane will help.
And yes higher octane fuels do burn better and more progressivley.

I know there are good and bad dealers in every franchise brand, BUT, the number of simple issues that Mazda owners have here are just being fobbed off by managers and staff...like a phone call, removing grease, attitudes and not doing what is requested by the customer (OWNER).
Doesn't Mazda NAO do annual satisfaction surveys with owners and their relationship to their dealer(s)?
Does MNAO act on this information giving the dealer directives, and where needed training to prevent poor outcomes with ongoing follow up by a field representative from Mazda NA.
In the end its MNAO and the Dealer has let the most important person down....the owner....Chris!
If the DEALER can not come up to a standard then the dealer doesn't sell the product!
