Hello all,
I just bought a 2005 Whitewater Pearl RX-8 GT. I honestly don't know too much about RWD (coming from the Subie world) or the rotary so it will be quite an adventure in that sense. So far in the last 24 hours of owning it though it has put a big smile on my face. I don't have pictures as the dealer took them down and I haven't taken any, but I will do that in the next day or two. Just wanted to say hi though!
2005 Whitewater Pearl Mazda RX-8 GT with:
every option except NAV
18K miles
Jon
PS. I'm stationed in Yorktown, Virginia til the 21st of March so wave if you see me...
PSS. Pictures on post 15.

Welcome..., fellow Korean RX-8 owner!
Congratulations. You will love the car. I am not a car person, and I love my 8.

Glad you joined us...please read the Stickies and your manual. We have to many people that buy a Rotary and don't know about the oil injecting of the engine and never check the OIL!

Response to a few questions I remember reading:
Details:
I think I wrote this, but it's a 2005 fully loaded RX-8 6-speed... only thing it doesn't have is the NAV system... besides that I think it has every other option that you could put on it. After everything was said and done it cost me 20.5K after tax. So ya... first thing to do is take off that silly license plate holder in the front... then window tint.
Another Korean? Who else is Korean on here?
Yes I'm with the Coast Guard and currently going through Marine Science school with them.
I will fer shur put down a beer for ya at the pub...
Ok, that's all I can remember for now! Thanx for the warm welcome
