Ok checking in, out of town on business and missing playing with the new car. One thing I have a question about. I think part of this has to do with me going from a LS1 Trans Am to rotary engine with a form of stability control. So before going on with my question I must note, I did about 12 hard runs to 100mph and I still got 220miles on that tank of gas which considering the tests I was doing I don't feel is too bad considering all the reports about gas mileage. Ok anyways, my buddy who I spanked over and over with my LS1 gave me a can of whoop ***. He has a Auto Crossfire. Now some of this I attribute to this being my first Manual car (plenty of years of experience but first car owned that is manual). Now I chirp hard into second but after that it feels like it doesnt want to go anywhere. Now if I hang in second and launch I am a bit faster. I have a feeling DSC is cutting the throttle. Now the times we ran I kept forgetting to turn it off. Any ideas on how it works? I tried searching but I only seem to find DSC threads focusing on Track use.

Yeah, but mentioning the "C" word is a ban-able offense, so therefore I'm going to have to refer you to the manual to learn how the DCS/TCS works. And searching would yield other clues.
Oh............and tell you buddy, his car looks like a dog squatting and taking a poop!

Haha that brought a much needed chuckle. I heard that saying somewhere else too. While I will say the RX8 is a very balanced car I sometimes miss the torque of the Trans Am. Maybe I will replate it.
