new owners got some ?'s
My fog lights will not operate unless my headlights are on. Never had that issue with previous cars. Is this the way the 8's are suppose to be set up? Is the oil plug reusable or do you have to replace them with every oil change? when I get down to about a third of a tank I hear clunking sounds from the rear of the car. Is this the floater in my tank that measures my fuel volume? and if so is it normal for this sound cause it can be quite loud.

Yes the fog lights will only work with the headlights on unless you re-wire them...search for the thread on how to do it...
Oil plus is reusable, but you should replace the "crush" washer each time.
I don't hear the sounds you are hearing, so I do not know if it is the float or not...sorry.

Not the float
The lights are wired that way- to prevent you from turning
High beam and the fog- too bright for oncomming traffic-
The float is affixed- unless something is amiss- you should not be hearing it bang around. the top vapor re-distribution shield, may be lose- which, after your fuel level goes down from fill a bit, might provide a little noise from the gas sloushing into it.
This can be fixed, under warranty by your dealer.
