New to RX-8 club

What's up everyone,
I am a soon to be rx-8 owner. I will be picking mine up in about a month. I came here to learn more about the car. I have always loved the rotary engine. I will post pics as soon as i get it.

Well then an early welcome from me. Nice other car also. I assume you are keeping the Evo also?

I was thinking about the gettiing my rx-8 in white but will probably go for red instead to match my evo. I am keeping the evo but the rx-8 in my opinion is a better car for everyday use. I love the looks. The interior. The rotary engine. I got the evo cuz it's fast and has great handling. Other then that the interior sucks. In terms of looks i like it but the rx-8 is a much sexier car.

Hi
I am picking up a Grey 2005 RX8 6M this week. I am pretty excited. I had a RX4 (back in 1983) and a RX7 in the early 90s. I like rotarys. I've also had cars with V8s- two 5.0 Mustangs and a 91 Corvette. I presently have a 2000 Mercedes and a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire (keeping both). I look forward to living with the ups/downs of the RX8s. Does anyone have the upgraded Bose (touring package). How does it sound? Take care.

It sounds like PC speakers combo such as the lower grades of Altec Lansing, etc. Don't expect heart thump when the bass sounds.
